It all began in 2017 with an idea to build an organization that celebrates “Polishness”… whatever that means to you.
We noticed that there was a lack of programming in the Polish community that was inclusive, diverse, and modern.
Our Goal is to Offer:
Curated and bespoke events designed for urban professionals
Unique experiences with super nice people
Opportunity to socialize in an adult environment
Space to learn about Polish culture, history & traditional crafts
An inclusive and diverse space for people from all walks of life, regardless of heritage, gender identity, sexual orientation or race
A non-religious & neutral environment
English programming that is accessible for all
Who Are Konekers?
Our demographic survey illustrates that our members are:
28-50 years old, with 36 years old being the mode age
50% gender split
Urban dwellers
Higher disposable income
80% are single, 20% are coupled
Enjoy bespoke events and seek to meet new friends and connect to their “Polishness”
Members range from first to third generation Canadian
Approximately 10% identify with another heritage other than Polish
And above all, very welcoming and friendly.

Our Mission
Konekt is a non-profit that provides Canadian adults of Polish descent with professional development, community building, and networking opportunities, helping them excel and connect with their heritage. The organization also educates Canadians about Polish culture, history, and the contributions of Polish-Canadians.
Creating a Larger Community
People seek community and belonging as they age and social networks change due to factors of marriage, family, mobility, carerr and transforming stages of life. Konekt offers the unmet need of offering relevant and sophisticated spaces for community building under the umbrella of identity: Polish descent.
